Welcome to Megan Brooke Handmade!
I assume if you’ve come to this page, you’re wanting to learn a little bit more about me, huh? Well, for starters, my name is Megan and I’m the author of this little blog.
I graduated from Clemson University in 2008 {Go Tigers} and moved to Nashville, TN after graduation. I somehow accidentally stumbled into the music industry while I was there and for 4.5 years I worked in the marketing department of a major record label.
I recently moved to Greenville, SC from Nashville, TN and now work at a local interior design firm and home furnishings boutique.
In the summer of 2010, I was really looking for a creative outlet outside of work. So, in September of that year, I opened my Etsy shop. That then led me to the wonderful world of blogs. I started my blog several months later with the main intent of promoting the shop. But, after discovering so much creativity out there in blogland, I was inspired to create things outside of the shop. Which led me to where I am now. I currently blog about DIY & craft projects, home design inspiration & tips, and the occasional recipe.
My passion is to create & my main goal & desire for this blog is to inspire others to discover their own creativity. I truly believe that everyone is creative to some degree. It’s just a matter of unlocking it!
My own personal creativity has grown and been stretched because of the amazing blogs and talent out there and I want to do the same for you! I hope this is a place you come to on a regular basis to stretch your own creativity and always leave feeling inspired.
Would love to hear from you!
