February is coming to an end so it’s time for a little recap.
Just like I did in January, here’s what happened in the lovely cold month of February.
I was needing a photo album with pictures of me and the hubby so I turned an old vintage book into a photo album.
With a party or wedding to plan or a room to decorate on the horizon, the first thing we all do is start gathering inspiration and ideas. But how do you make those ideas tangible? I shared a few tips for how to turn inspiration into reality and make your event or space come to life with what you love.
I shared a fun and quirky list of things I’ve been loving, wondering and enjoying lately and shared some pictures from our wintry weather. We’ve been enjoying some spring like weather here in Greenville which is a stark contrast to the snowy weather from these pictures we took only weeks ago.
I introduced a new series on the blog about turning your creative hobby into a business. I was honored to have the first installment be with Barb Blair of Knack Studios where she shared her journey of turning her love of furniture design into a very successful business.
For those that are planning a wedding, you may be on the fence about hiring a wedding planner. I shared five reasons why you should hire a wedding planner and why it’s the best decision you’ll ever make.
I went back to my paper making roots and love for handmade paper goods and showed you how to make your own set of embossed notecards.
They officially started demolition on our house and I shared a renovation update along with pictures of the yard being prepped for our new addition.
And last but not least, the lovely duo at The Handmade Home shared their journey of turning their creative blogging hobby into a family business in the second installment of the creative business series.
If you missed a post, hopefully you were able to get caught up.
Here’s to a new month and new projects!
