Several weeks ago I re-created Mary’s bedroom from one of my current favorite shows, Downton Abbey. If you missed it, you can see it here.
I had so much fun putting that one together that I thought I would try my hand at another one. This time I thought I would re-create the look of the supremely grand and gorgeous dining room from the Grantham estate.
Here’s what I came up with.
1. Marble Top Buffet // 2. Vintage Stemware // 3. Dinnerware // 4. Antique Candelabras // 5. Vintage Creamer and Sugar Bowl // 6. Antique Portraits // 7. Vintage Menu Holder
Here’s the same dining room by day.
Doesn’t feel quite as glamorous in the day, but still very regal.
I still have to watch the finale of Season 2 before I can start Season 3. The suspense is killing me though! Judging by all the chatter on social media, I can tell there was a lot of drama this past season.
Do you have a favorite show that you can re-watch over and over again?

My name is Megan. I work full time at an interior design firm and home furnishings boutique in Greenville, SC by day and I'm the author of Megan Brooke Handmade by night.
This blog was started out of a passion to create. My hope & desire is to help others discover their creativity. I currently blog about DIY & craft projects, home design inspiration & tips and the occasional recipe.
I hope you'll follow along!

I watch Downton Abbey over and over. And Weeds (talk about two VERY different shows!) and Brothers & Sisters. I never seem to get tired of any of them.
Oh there was drama. DRAMA!!! I can’t stand to wait a whole year for the next season!
