Pallet Antler Wall Art

For the last few months, it has been my goal to find something to hang over my bed in my room. I had been holding onto some pallet wood I had gotten for free and was hoping to create something with it but hadn’t decided exactly what that would be.

I figured I should find a way to put the pallet wood to good use for this specific project. I mean it was free after all. Here’s what I finally came up with.

Later this week I’ll show you the tutorial on how I put the entire thing together.

The frame is from Ikea that I got years ago but spray painted white.

And the antlers are from Target.

I love the alternating colors of wood and how the white accessories pop on top of it.

It fits perfectly with the look of my room too. A little bit rustic with a little glam.

Now if I could only find some darn pillows to add to my bed…

What do you think of my pallet wall art? What was the last project you created using pallet wood?

Such a great project! I have been on the hunt for some antlers to put above my dry bar but needed some good inspiration on how to make them unique and more my style. This wall art is classy yet simple. When did you buy the antlers? Thanks for the great tutorial!

Thanks Danielle! I bought the antlers probably a month or so ago at Target. They are from one of the new collections Target started carrying. They may still have them in stores if you want to hunt a pair down!

    Hi Megan,
I realize you bought the antlers a while ago. I have the mirror from IKEA and was wondering how I could still snag a pair (or possible two pairs) of the antlers. I’d like to use them as curtain tie-backs in my daughter’s bedroom. She has a Restoration Hardware like theme going on, and these would fit in perfectly. Do you happen to know what the brand or collection name was? I was hoping to do a search for them on Ebay. Another person told me Fred Meyer was carring a similar kind of antler, but I have not had luck. Any help leading me in the right direction would be appreciated.

Your project turned out great! It’s nice to see another creative use for the IKEA mirror.
