Fall Around The House {Additional Fall Decorations}

I showed you guys my fall mantel last week. In addition to decorating our mantel for fall, I also added a few additional ‘fall’ touches around the house.

Thought I would share a few pics with you guys today.

Coffee Filter Wreath and Door

I made this coffee filter wreath a few years ago. In our old apartment, I  hung it on an old window that I had on the wall. This was BB {before blogging} so I didn’t really take any pictures on how I put it all together, but there are tons of tutorials online.

To add some ‘fall’ to my room, I hung the wreath on the old antique door in my room.

I also added a few twigs in spots to give it a more ‘nature-y’ look.

Since we have a pine tree in our backyard, I took advantage of some ‘free’ decor. Not only did I make the pine cone garland for our mantel, I also grabbed a bunch to put in the dish on our coffee table.

I bought this ‘twig’ pumpkin a few years ago at Target. There’s not much to it, but for some reason I love it. I saw it on another blog recently on someone’s mantel with a ribbon tied around the stem. Thinking maybe I should do that to add a bit of color. What do you think?

That’s really all the fall decorations I put out this year. Kept things pretty simple. Now the only thing I still have to show you guys is our front porch all decorated for fall…but I plan to do that really soon!

I’m actually going on vacation next week with my family. I’m soo excited for some time off. Definitely much needed. So, I’ll be taking a little break from the blog next week, but lucky for you, I have some fabulous fellow bloggers guest posting for me while I’m out of town. Yay!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
