Wednesday Inspiration:: Tiny Victorian Cottage

Yesterday on Pinterest I came across this amazingly adorable tiny victorian cottage.

What was once a hunting lodge, is now a whimsical getaway.

Sandra Fosteris the woman behind this little retreat and did an amazing job transforming it. A lot of the decor is handmade or second hand finds, which I love!

Let’s start with the porch. The step is made from a tool drawer topped with wood from a bench pulled from a nearby creek.

I love the paper garland she used in this sitting area and that gorgeous chandelier was only $15 at a flea market!

Sandra built the shelves for this china cabinet, then added the french doors that she found at a yard sale for $15 each.

This mirror was also a yard sale find that she transformed.

Crossing a little stream is the only way to access their dream cottage. How fun!Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Doesn’t it just make you want to build your own little dream cottage?
